We had a great experience working on this home together with the friendly home owner, accompanied by much ideas exchange and understanding.
We applied a modern, simple, and nostalgic theme to the interior spaces after understanding the preferences of the owners.
Our main ideas on material selection will go with white color that forms the main ratios of color palette in the house then thoughtfully select some natural materials like stone, old time stylish tiles and limited usage of timber to get the right color mixing.
Tv cabinet is dedicatedly designed with minimal and simple shape approach so visitors will be welcomed by a wide and uncluttered scene when entering the living area from main entrance.
Home Layout Planning
We keep the living space planning simple yet adapting the existing home environment and m&e services. Main layout adjustment are done among dry and wet kitchen areas, in order to perfect the spatial usage that will align with the daily routines and habits of the couples.

Defining The Living Zones
Artificial climbing grass tiles are used as feature wall decoration to vitalize the living space like a touch of green leave on wide white sand.
By using a full height build in display cabinet cum book shelve, we calculated out an appropriate cabinet length so it can also define the spatial zoning between living and dining area.
Implanting Sensible Interests Between Spaces
There is a sky lighted area near the dry kitchen and staircase areas. We thought this will be a good place to have something exotic and interesting to further enhance the beauty of the space.
Introduction of granite stone water feature wall in between dining and opened dry kitchen helps to create interesting interactive connections with the hearing sense of sizzling water flowing sounds among the spaces.
Dry Kitchen An Escaped Casual Place
We plan out a U shape dry kitchen layout with ample walking space at middle for unobstructed light cooking sessions. The kitchen cabinet has been thoughtfully compartmented for different storage needs for various cooking activities such as vegetable washing, cutting, seasoning, baking, cooking, serving preparation, light dish cleaning
White subway wall tile in dry kitchen echoes the rustic feels while we choose black color instead of similar white color quartz counter top to make the dry kitchen color blending more eye catching and energizing.
A long white marble bar table is placed along the corridor for ensuring a smooth walking flow while also can be treated as breakfast catering place. This space planning also double up and turn the corridor into a small social chatting area too
Wet Kitchen Shall Not Be Overlooked!
As the single most interior room in a house where everyone will emphasize on its practicality. Cleanliness and Safety are the first concern during our design process While we demolished and make adjustments to the existing walls and layout, a sliding glass door is added to keep the smoke out from wet kitchen during cooking sessions.
While we keep wet kitchen cabinets, ceiling and wall with white color scheme, we make the single wall at basin area filled with colorful artisan wall tile. This immediately differentiates wet kitchen to the rest of living spaces white still keeping it blending in among each others.
The colorful surprise will also bring a good smile to home residents for every daily meals cooking sessions.
